For guests from Anatolia who wish to go on Umrah, we organise dates departing from a range of cities. When you choose a date departing from your own city, you can set off without connecting via Istanbul and reduce the tiredness at the start of the journey.

Whichever city you depart from, the airport welcome, the transfers between Makkah and Madinah and the guiding services are of the same standard. Intercity journeys are made by comfortable coach and, on some dates, by high-speed train.

When comparing packages, we recommend looking not only at the price but also at the hotel’s distance from the Haram, the meal arrangements, the group size and the type of flight. With the same budget, you can choose a shorter programme closer to the Haram or a longer programme with a shuttle service; you can work out which one suits you best together with our advisor.

The Advantages of Travelling to Umrah from Anatolia

Set out from your own city, without having to travel to Istanbul first

One of the most tiring parts of the Umrah journey is having to travel to another city and wait there before the flight. Especially for our elderly guests and families with children, coach journeys lasting many hours and the cost of an overnight stay strain both the budget and energy levels. When you join an Umrah tour departing from your own city, your loved ones can see you off at the airport and welcome you back at the same place on your return.

On dates departing from Anatolia, some flights go directly to Saudi Arabia, while others connect via Istanbul. On connecting dates, the domestic flight is included in the package price, and your baggage is usually checked through to your final destination. You can see which dates are direct and which involve a connection from the route information in the Departure column of our tables. Whatever the departure city, the services included in the same package and its price are usually the same.

If there is no departure from your region, you can join from the nearest major city. For example, our guests in Karaman and Aksaray can choose the dates departing from Konya, those in Kırıkkale and Çankırı the dates from Ankara, those in Manisa and Aydın the dates from Izmir, and those in Rize and Giresun the dates from Trabzon. What Determines Umrah Prices?

Hotel distance, room type, season and duration

The first factor that determines the price of Umrah from Türkiye is the type of accommodation. On economy packages, the hotels in Makkah are 2.5-4 kilometres from the Haram, and free shuttle transport is provided at prayer times. On walking-distance packages, the hotels are 300-500 metres from the Haram, on luxury packages 200-300 metres and on premium packages just 50-100 metres away. The closer the hotel is to the Haram, the higher both the comfort and the price.

The second factor is the room type. On the same tour, a guest staying in a room for 4 pays a lower price per person than a guest staying in a room for 2. Families and groups of friends usually keep their budget in check by choosing a room for 3 or 4. The third factor is the season: prices rise during busy periods such as Ramadan, the mid-term school holiday and the holy nights (kandil), while dates at the start of the season are generally more affordable.

Finally, the duration and the type of flight affect the price. There is a clear difference between a 7-day programme and a 23-day programme because of accommodation and meal costs. The price is usually the same whether you travel on a direct flight from Türkiye or with a connection in Istanbul; on connecting dates, the domestic flight is included in the package price. You can see all of this information on every row of our table and easily choose the date that best fits your budget.

When Should You Go on Umrah?

The 2026-2027 season, holy nights, the mid-term school holiday and Ramadan

There is no set time for Umrah; it can be performed at any time of year outside the days of Hajj. In the 2026-2027 season, our first group from Türkiye sets off in September 2026. With calmer crowds and favourable prices, the start of the season is very well suited to guests performing Umrah for the first time; as autumn progresses, the weather also starts to cool. The mid-term break of 16-20 November 2026 offers families with school-age children an opportunity for short programmes.

As the three sacred months approach, the crowds in Makkah and Madinah grow. Laylat al-Raghaib falls on 10 December 2026, Laylat al-Mi’raj on 4 January 2027 and Laylat al-Bara’ah on 22 January 2027; for those who wish to spend these nights in the blessed lands, our programmes are planned to cover the dates of the holy nights. The mid-term school holiday between 25 January and 5 February 2027 is the period most preferred by our guests from the education community.

The peak of the season is the blessed month of Ramadan. During Ramadan, which begins on 8 February 2027, praying tarawih at the Haram, breaking the fast in the courtyard of the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) and spending Laylat al-Qadr in worship facing the Kaaba is a priceless experience. Eid al-Fitr falls on 9 March 2027. Our dates departing from Türkiye are concentrated in the following months: September 2026, October 2026, November 2026, December 2026, January 2027, February 2027 and March 2027.

Accommodation in Makkah and Madinah

Hotel distances and room arrangements by package

On our packages departing from Türkiye, accommodation is planned at different distances and standards depending on the package you choose. On economy packages, guests stay in 3-4 star hotels with a shuttle service 2.5-4 km from the Haram in Makkah, and in hotels within 200-300 metres’ walking distance of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. The Makkah hotels are 300-500 metres from the Haram on walking-distance packages, 200-300 metres on luxury packages and 50-100 metres on premium packages.

At our hotels, breakfast and dinner are served as an open buffet; on Ramadan programmes, suhoor and iftar are provided. Rooms are arranged for 2, 3 or 4 people; families can stay in the same room, while guests travelling alone share a room with passengers of the same gender. Hotel names are confirmed according to the group’s travel date and shared with you before departure. For large families from Türkiye, requests for adjoining rooms are noted at registration.

Preparing for Umrah: Documents and Packing List

What you need to complete before you set off

Documents are the foundation of your preparations for the journey. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your return date; if it is not, we recommend starting the passport renewal process in Türkiye before you register. Once registration is complete, your Umrah visa application is made by our advisors; all we ask of you is a scan of your passport and a biometric photo.

How Is Umrah Performed?

Ihram, tawaf, sa’i and shaving the hair

Umrah consists of four basic steps, and our guides are with our group at every one of them. Ihram: Before crossing the miqat boundary, pilgrims enter ihram, make the intention and recite the talbiyah. On programmes that fly to Makkah, ihram is entered in Türkiye or on the plane when it is level with the miqat; guests coming from Madinah enter ihram at the miqat of Dhul Hulayfah.

Tawaf: On arriving at the Haram, pilgrims walk seven circuits (shawt) around the Kaaba, starting from the line of the Black Stone (al-Hajar al-Aswad). After tawaf, two rak’ahs of the tawaf prayer are performed behind the Station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim), and Zamzam water is drunk. Sa’i: Pilgrims walk back and forth between the two hills seven times, starting at the hill of Safa and finishing at the hill of Marwah; in the section marked with green lights, men jog lightly.

Shaving or trimming: After sa’i, men shave or shorten their hair, and women cut a small amount from the ends of their hair. With this, pilgrims leave ihram and the Umrah is complete. On our programme, the first Umrah is performed together as a group, accompanied by a guide; on the following days, additional Umrahs are organised from the miqats of Ji’ranah and Tan’im for guests who wish to perform them. Observing the restrictions of ihram throughout Umrah, being patient in the crowds and following the guide’s instructions help to ensure that the worship is completed in peace.

Things to Keep in Mind During Umrah

For a peaceful journey in the holy lands

On the Umrah journey, small precautions make a big difference. The Haram has dozens of gates; on the first day, learn the gate number your guide shows you and the direction of your hotel. Save your hotel’s location on your phone and join the group’s messaging group. If you set off early for the daily prayers, you will find a place more easily and be able to return without getting caught in the crowds.

As temperatures can rise during the day, keep water with you and choose light-coloured, loose clothing. Do not rush during tawaf and sa’i; our guides suggest the less crowded times of day for elderly guests. Keep your passport somewhere safe at the hotel and carry a photocopy with you. For your cash needs, activate your bank card for use abroad before you set off.

Keeping the mosques quiet and clean, carrying your shoes in a bag and not crowding the prayer rows all help to preserve the atmosphere of worship. It is best to take your souvenir photos outside the areas of worship. Places to Visit in Makkah and Madinah

The blessed sites visited on our guided programmes

Alongside worship, our programmes include guided visits to important sites in Islamic history. In Makkah, guests visit Jabal al-Nour, home to the Cave of Hira where the first revelation came to our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him); Mount Thawr, where he took refuge during the Hijrah; Arafat, where the standing (wuquf), the most important pillar of Hajj, takes place; and Muzdalifah and Mina. Many of the Companions, first among them our mother Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), are buried in the Jannat al-Mu’alla cemetery.

In Madinah al-Munawwarah, the prayers offered at the Prophet’s Mosque and the visit to the Rawdah are the heart of the programme. Quba Mosque, the first mosque of Islam; Masjid al-Qiblatayn, where the qiblah was turned from Jerusalem to the Kaaba; Mount Uhud and the Uhud martyrs’ cemetery; the site of the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq); and the Jannat al-Baqi cemetery are visited, with explanations from our guides. On some of our dates, visits to Taif and Badr are also added to the programme.

The biggest advantage of departing from your own city is that you are spared the trouble of connecting via Istanbul and checking in your baggage again at the start of the journey. Especially for our elderly guests and families with children, this makes the first day of the journey much more comfortable. As the number of dates departing from Anatolia can be limited, places may fill up sooner than on dates departing from Istanbul; we recommend keeping an eye on the availability information in the date table.

Differences Between the Umrah Packages

Whichever city you depart from, the packages differ in the distance between the hotel and the Haram in Makkah and in the hotel class. Airport meet-and-greet, transfers between Makkah and Madinah, guidance from an experienced religious guide and the Umrah visa are provided on the same basis at all departure points; the only differences are the city where the flight begins and the price of the dates departing from that city:

A comfortable Umrah journey depends largely on the preparations you make before you set off. Completing your documents early, taking care of your health preparations and learning the steps of Umrah in advance make it easier to devote your time in the holy lands to worship. We recommend reviewing the list below a few weeks before departure:

Passport: it must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel; submit your documents early, soon after making your reservation.
Visa: the Umrah visa is included in our packages; the application and follow-up are handled by us.
Vaccinations: book an early appointment at a travel health centre for the vaccinations required by the Saudi authorities.
Nusuk: install the app on your phone to book your Rawdah appointment.

Our Umrah tour prices start from 70.500 ₺ per person. Prices by departure city are shown in the table on the relevant city page.

In the 2026-2027 season, there are 36 different departure points. Most dates depart from Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Konya, Çorum, Denizli and Izmir. You can see all the cities in the table on this page.

You can join our group from the nearest departure point. Our advisors will help you with transport and choosing a date.

For the same package and date, prices are mostly the same. On dates with a connection in Istanbul, the domestic flight is included in the price.

On connecting dates, your baggage is usually checked through to your final destination. Exact details are shared with you when your ticket is issued.

It shows that availability on that date is running low. We recommend registering early for these dates.

The final price for some Ramadan dates has not been announced yet. For these dates, an estimated price calculated on the basis of similar packages is shown; it is updated once the final price is announced.

Our programmes are planned for 4, 7, 10, 15, 20, 23 and 33 days; not every duration may be available from every city.

Return flights, the Umrah visa, accommodation, open-buffet breakfast and dinner, transfers and guidance from an experienced religious guide are included.

A passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel, a biometric photo and your identity details are all you need.

Quad, triple and double room options are available. The fewer people sharing a room, the higher the price per person; requests for spouses and family members to stay in the same room are noted at registration.

No online payment is taken on our website. After you choose your package and submit your reservation request, our advisor contacts you through the channel you selected, confirms the date and room type, and guides you through the payment steps.
