Mesh Tawaf Socks are designed to keep your feet cool, clean and comfortable as you walk for hours across the vast marble floors of the Masjid al-Haram. With a breathable knitted upper and a silicone-dot sole, they are a light companion for tawaf and for walking inside the Haram.
About the Product
On an Umrah or Hajj journey, it is your feet that tire the most. You walk for kilometres during tawaf and sa’i, the floor can at times be damp because of intensive cleaning, and in the crowds you may need to take off your shoes and carry them. RotaNur Mesh Tawaf Socks are a simple, practical answer to this need: the upper is made of breathable mesh knit, while the sole is a flexible fabric covered with silicone dots to improve grip on the floor. Folded, they take up no more room than the palm of your hand, so they are easy to carry in your bag, next to your ihram belt or in your shoe bag. They come in two colours, white and black, and in four sizes from S to XL. Women can wear them with peace of mind throughout Umrah and Hajj, and men can wear them for tawaf after leaving ihram and at the hotel.

How to Use
- Choose your size using the size chart; if you are between two sizes, go for the larger one.

Use on Your Umrah and Hajj Journey
An Umrah or Hajj journey means long walks at the Masjid al-Haram and the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi), dense crowds and, very often, a hot climate. When everything you take with you is light, practical and durable, it is easier to focus on your worship. As applying fragrance is forbidden while in ihram, remember to choose unscented care products. For a complete packing list, take a look at our Umrah Guide and Hajj Guide.
Who Is It For?
An everyday essential for women travelling for Umrah or Hajj; according to statements by Diyanet (Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs), women may wear socks and shoes even while in ihram. Men, however, should not wear socks that cover the heel and the top of the foot for as long as they are in ihram; they can use this product for tawaf after leaving ihram, during the visit to Madinah and in their hotel room. The socks also suit anyone whose feet get cold on chilly marble and who wants a light, affordable spare pair.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can men wear these socks while in ihram?
According to statements by Diyanet, a man in ihram must keep his heels and the tops of his feet uncovered. Because these socks enclose the whole foot, they are not recommended for men in ihram; they can be worn freely after leaving ihram.
Do the socks prevent slipping completely?
The silicone dots improve grip, but no sole can fully prevent slipping on a wet floor. In areas that are being cleaned, we recommend walking slowly and taking short steps.
Which size should I choose?
Choose S, M, L or XL according to your shoe size. As the socks are stretchy, taking the larger size gives a more comfortable fit if you are right on the borderline.
Are they machine washable?
Yes, you can wash them inside out on a 30 °C delicate cycle. As tumble dryers and direct sunlight can damage the silicone dots, we recommend drying them in the shade.
How many pairs should I buy?
For a one-week Umrah trip, two pairs are practical. That way, while the pair you washed in the evening is drying, you have a clean spare ready for the next day.
