The Economy Hajj Tour has been prepared for guests who wish to fulfil the obligation of Hajj in full and on a sensible budget. By “economy” we mean savings on the accommodation class only, never on the essence of the worship; every stage of the Hajj rites is carried out completely.

Planned for the 2027 Hajj season, this private Hajj programme brings together accommodation in Madinah and Makkah, the arrangements at Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina, all transfers and guidance from a religious guide in a single package. The programme has been designed for guests going on Hajj for the first time, for those who plan their budget carefully and for those who want to focus on their worship.

Day-by-Day Programme (Summary)

  1. Arrival: Arrival at Jeddah or Madinah airport, welcome and hotel check-in. On the first day, our guide explains the flow of the programme, the arrangements for going to the daily prayers and the meeting points.
  2. Days in Madinah: The daily prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) and a visit to the Rawdah; visits to historic sites such as Quba Mosque, Masjid al-Qiblatayn, Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi.
  3. Makkah: Entering ihram at the miqat and preparing for Umrah and Hajj. Briefings on the Hajj rites (manasik) and worship at the Masjid al-Haram.
  4. Arafat & Muzdalifah: The standing (wuquf) at Arafat on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, followed by the overnight stay at Muzdalifah and the collecting of pebbles.
  5. Mina: On the days of Eid, the stoning of the pillars at the Jamarat, the sacrifice and shaving or trimming the hair; tawaf al-ziyarah and sa’i.
  6. Return: Voluntary worship during the remaining days in Makkah; the farewell tawaf and the journey home.

Whether the programme starts in Madinah or in Makkah, and how the days are distributed, may change according to the final flight plan.

Important Information

  • Private Hajj programmes are carried out through agencies authorised to organise Hajj, within the procedures and principles announced by Diyanet (Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs). Please check the registration and participation requirements against that year’s official announcements.
  • The visa process follows the official procedure as part of the organisation; the visa decision rests with the competent authorities. Do not rely on offers that present a registration or visa outcome as if it were already settled.
  • Before departure, check the validity of your passport and complete the vaccinations required for Hajj (e.g. the meningitis vaccine) and your health checks; current health requirements are set out in official announcements.
  • Since the companion and participation requirements for women applicants are set each year by official announcements, we recommend confirming this point at the booking stage.
  • If you let us know about special circumstances such as a chronic condition, a special diet or the need for a wheelchair when you book, accommodation and transport can be planned accordingly.
  • Hajj demands an intense physical pace; be prepared for long walks on the days at Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the Economy Hajj Tour cost?

The amount shown on the card is an estimated starting price per person. The exact fee is confirmed in writing by our advisor once the flight plan, room type and accommodation arrangements for the 2027 Hajj season have been finalised.

Does the economy package cut any part of the worship programme?

No. The difference between the economy package and the other packages lies in the accommodation class, the distance of the hotel and the group arrangements. All the rites, including the standing at Arafat, Muzdalifah, the stoning of the pillars, the sacrifice, shaving or trimming the hair and the tawafs, are performed in full with a guide.

What are the requirements for registration?

For private Hajj, registration and participation depend on the procedures and principles that Diyanet announces each year. The package class gives no advantage in registration, queue order or visas; we check the current requirements together with you at the booking stage. For Diyanet’s own programme, see our Hajj via the Diyanet lottery page.

When will the Hajj dates be known?

Hajj is performed in the month of Dhul Hijjah according to the Hijri calendar. Flight and programme dates for the 2027 season become clear with the official calendar and the registration process; for this reason we do not publish fixed dates on the site, and dates are set with our advisor.

How far is the hotel from the Masjid al-Haram?

In the economy package, hotels are chosen with a shuttle service or within a reasonable walking distance. The exact hotel and distance are shared in writing at the booking stage; if walking is a concern for you, simply let us know in advance.

Is the cost of the sacrifice (hady) included in the price?

No. The cost of the hady sacrifice, which must be offered by those performing Tamattu or Qiran Hajj, is not included in the price; how the sacrifice will be arranged is explained when you book. To learn about the types of Hajj, you can read our article Types of Hajj.

How many people share a room in the economy package?

In economy packages, rooms are generally arranged for several occupants. If you state when booking that spouses or family members would like to stay in the same room, the room plan is made accordingly.

How do payment and cancellation work?

No online payment is taken. After you submit your reservation request, our advisor contacts you, confirms the programme and availability, and guides you through the payment steps. The booking steps and payment details are shared with you in writing. For financing, you can explore Kuveyt Türk’s Hajj and Umrah financing via the Umrah Financing link in the menu. Cancellation and refund terms vary according to the time remaining before departure; the details are on our cancellation and refund terms page.
