Corporate Events
Conferences afloat, product launches, distributor galas and client hosting nights for 6 to 700 guests, with AV, branding and a written run of show.
See Details· Plan your eventBosporus Cruise is the operating brand of Travelpedia Tourism, a TÜRSAB-licensed “A” group travel agency (licence 10807). We own the boats, the kitchen, the crew and the drivers, and we build corporate events, employee outings and client hospitality on the Bosphorus for groups of 6 to 700 guests.
We are an operator, not a reseller. Eighteen years on the strait, eleven private yachts and five event boats under our own flag, an in-house kitchen, our own captains, hosts and drivers, and a resident cast of performers. When a company books with us, there is no intermediary layer between the brief and the boat: the people who quote the event are the people who run it.
That matters most when the guest list belongs to someone else. Board meetings, incentive groups, distributor galas, agency client nights and year-end parties are events where the host cannot afford a surprise. Owning the fleet means we can confirm a vessel, a capacity and a sailing window in writing, hold it, and answer for it on the night.
Bosporus Cruise is a Travelpedia Tourism Group brand. The Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB) certified Travelpedia Tourism with licence number 10807 in 2018 as an “A” Group Travel Agency — the licence class that allows us to contract directly with companies, issue corporate invoices and work alongside DMCs and event agencies.

One desk owns your event from brief to invoice. Corporate enquiries do not go into a general booking queue. A named coordinator takes the brief, checks live availability across all sixteen vessels, and comes back with a written proposal that fixes the vessel, the capacity, the sailing window, the menu and the programme — usually within the same working day.
From there the same person handles the seating plan, dietary requirements, the run of show, AV and branding needs, the arrival logistics from your hotel or venue, and the invoice. On the night, that coordinator is reachable, and a host from our team is on board. Companies working to a fixed budget get the number in advance, in euros, with what is included stated line by line.
We work year-round, including Ramadan and the major public holidays, with heated panoramic salons in winter and open decks in summer — so a January kick-off and a July client night are both normal dates for us, not exceptions.
Six corporate formats we run on our own boats, every week of the year
The six departments a corporate event normally needs from six different suppliers
Eleven private yachts from 6 to 30 guests and five event boats from 70 to 700, all operated under our own licence rather than sub-chartered.
Our own chefs and menus, so vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal requirements are handled as standard rather than outsourced to a caterer.
Licensed captains, deck crew and multilingual hosts on our payroll. English on every sailing, with other languages on request.
Company vehicles and drivers for hotel and office pickup on selected packages, so arrival timing is ours to control, not a third-party transfer desk.
Professional performers across ten genres — whirling dervish sema, oriental, zeybek, halay, horon, Roman and Caucasian folk dance — plus a live DJ.
A named coordinator per event, written proposals, corporate invoicing and a single point of contact from the first email to the final invoice.
How a corporate booking actually runs with us
Peak dates — New Year, national holidays and the September–November corporate season — are usually committed months in advance. An early brief is the difference between the vessel you want and the vessel that is left.
Eleven private yachts and five event boats, live availability and hourly rates — captain and crew included on every charter
Every boat above can be arranged for this occasion — message us on WhatsApp with your date and guest count for a private offer with current availability and a special discounted rate.

Rates are the starting hourly charter price for the vessel with captain and crew; catering, drinks, show and transfers are quoted per head on top. Minimum charter length, peak-date pricing and exact totals are confirmed in your written proposal. Live prices and photos for each vessel are on the yacht rental page and the fleet cards above.
Company nights, team days and client hosting, staged on vessels we operate ourselves
What changes when the operator, not an agency layer, signs the confirmation
TÜRSAB “A” group agency, licence 10807, certified in 2018. Contracts, invoices and liability sit with the company that runs the boat.
Sixteen vessels under our own flag. No sub-charter risk, no vessel swap on the day, no commission layer inflating the per-head cost.
The same person from the first email to the final invoice — quoting, planning, running the night and answering afterwards.
Company invoices with full tax details, written proposals in euros, and payment terms agreed before the event rather than at the gangway.
Combined rating across TripAdvisor, Google, GetYourGuide and Viator from eighteen years of sailings on the strait.
Heated panoramic salons in winter, open decks in summer, and sailings on public holidays and through Ramadan.
Bosporus Cruise operates on the Istanbul Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe from Asia and carries the skyline every visiting delegation wants to see: Dolmabahçe and Beylerbeyi palaces, the Rumeli fortress, Ortaköy Mosque and the bridges lit up after dark. Most sailings board at Kabataş Pier on the European side, five minutes from the T1 tram and F1 funicular and roughly ten to twenty minutes from Sultanahmet, Beyoğlu, Karaköy, Beşiktaş and Nişantaşı. Private charters can also depart from Bebek marina.
The company runs two distinct lines of business. Scheduled cruises — dinner, sunset, day, lunch and breakfast — carry individual guests and smaller delegations on a fixed programme with a private table guarantee. Private charters put a whole vessel at one company’s disposal, by the hour, with the programme written around the brief.
For a corporate brief, start with Corporate Events for formats, capacities and per-head budgets, Employee Outings for team days, or the full Group & Private Events hub. Availability, quotes and invoices come from the same desk: contact the reservation team.
The single decision that shapes budget, atmosphere and run of show
Most corporate briefs arrive with a headcount and a date, and the vessel follows from those two numbers. Getting the match right is what keeps a company night from feeling either cramped or half-empty, and it is the first thing our coordinators check.
Six to thirty guests. A private yacht is the natural home for a board retreat, an executive dinner or key-client hosting. The saloon seats everyone at one table, conversation stays in one circle, and the hourly rate starts from €85. Bosporus 11 is the largest of the eleven at thirty guests and twenty-six metres; below that, the choice is mostly about deck layout and how much of the evening you want to spend outside.
Thirty to seventy guests. This is where a department party, a distributor briefing or a product demo sits. Event Boat 3 takes up to seventy and still feels like one room, which matters when there are speeches. Larger vessels at this headcount look sparse; two smaller yachts sailing together is usually the wrong answer for a group that needs to hear one presentation.
Seventy to three hundred guests. Company anniversaries, client galas and year-end parties. Event Boat 5 (150), Event Boat 1 (250) and Event Boat 2 (300) all carry a stage, a dance floor and a proper service line, so a hot five-course dinner for the full room is realistic rather than optimistic.
Three hundred to seven hundred guests. Congress dinners, incentive groups and city-scale launches. Event Boat 4 is the only vessel in the fleet that takes seven hundred, which is also why it is the first date to disappear in the autumn season. Above seven hundred we run multi-boat groups sailing in convoy on a synchronised programme.
The paperwork side of a corporate booking, answered before it is asked
Corporate events fail procurement for boring reasons: no invoice in the company name, no written scope, no named liability. Because Bosporus Cruise trades under Travelpedia Tourism — a TÜRSAB-certified “A” group travel agency holding licence number 10807 since 2018 — the contracting entity is a licensed Turkish travel agency, not a boat owner operating informally.
If your procurement team needs supplier documentation, tax registration details or a scope of work in a specific format, the reservation desk can supply it during the proposal stage rather than after the event.
How we fit into a programme someone else is already running
A large share of our corporate work arrives through destination management companies, incentive houses and event agencies building an Istanbul programme. We are set up to be one supplier line inside that programme rather than a competing brand in front of your client.
In practice that means agency-facing rates and net pricing on request, a written vessel hold while your client decides, flexible branding on board so the evening carries your client’s identity rather than ours, and coordination directly with your on-site team on the day. Timing is the part agencies care about most: because the drivers, the kitchen and the crew are ours, a delayed transfer or an overrunning gala dinner can be absorbed by moving our own schedule rather than renegotiating with three subcontractors.
For multi-day programmes we can also sequence a small executive yacht for the leadership group and a large event boat for the full delegation on different evenings, quoted together and invoiced as one line.
A typical three-hour company night, hour by hour
Pickup starts about an hour before sail-away, with our own drivers collecting from hotel lobbies or an office address. Boarding at Kabataş is unhurried: guests are met by name, seated by the plan agreed in advance, and served a welcome drink while the boat is still alongside.
The first hour is the Bosphorus at its best — Dolmabahçe, Ortaköy, the bridges — which is when speeches and awards land well, because there is a view behind the speaker and nobody has left the table yet. Dinner service runs across the middle of the sailing; a five-course Turkish menu comes out of our own galley, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal plates prepared alongside rather than as an afterthought.
The last hour is the entertainment decision, and it is genuinely optional. A full Turkish night show — whirling dervish sema, oriental, zeybek, halay, horon, Roman and Caucasian folk dance, then a live DJ — turns the room into a party. A conservative client dinner instead keeps live music low and the deck open. Companies hosting mixed international groups often split the difference: the show during dessert, the DJ only for the final thirty minutes.
The boat docks back at Kabataş at the agreed time, and drop-off runs in reverse. Your coordinator confirms the headcount actually carried, and the final invoice follows.
Send us the guest count, the date and a budget range, and a named coordinator will come back with a written proposal: vessel, capacity, menu, programme and the total in euros. No deposit is needed to hold a date. WhatsApp is answered around the clock, usually within five minutes.
A magical evening. The food kept coming, the show was world-class and the Bosphorus at night is simply unreal. Worth every euro.
Boarded at Kabataş just before golden hour, the light over Topkapı was the part of Istanbul we couldn’t put into words.
Booked direct after comparing prices with the resellers. Same boat, better service, noticeably less money.
