The departure point used on our Umrah tours from Alanya and Gazipaşa is Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP). On the day of departure, we meet our guests at the airport; baggage drop, ticket and passport checks are carried out with the assistance of our guides. Before the flight, a short briefing is given on ihram, the Umrah rites and the flow of the programme.

All 8 dates departing from Alanya and Gazipaşa have a route that starts directly in Makkah or Madinah; none of them involves a connection via Istanbul. On programmes that start in Makkah, the first Umrah is performed right after arrival; on programmes that start in Madinah, the Prophet’s Mosque is visited first, and guests then enter ihram at the miqat of Dhul Hulayfah before travelling on to Makkah. The route for each date is shown in the Departure column of the table.

On arrival in Saudi Arabia, transfers from the airport to the hotel, intercity journeys and visit programmes are made by air-conditioned coach. On the way back, a transfer from the hotel to the airport is likewise provided, and our guests are welcomed back in Alanya and Gazipaşa. Guests joining from the surrounding area, from places such as Alanya, Gazipaşa, Manavgat and Anamur, can get information from our advisors about travelling to the departure point.

The first factor that determines Umrah prices from Alanya (Gazipaşa) is the type of accommodation. In the economy packages, the hotels in Makkah are 2.5-4 kilometres from the Haram, and transport is provided by a free shuttle service at prayer times. In the walking-distance packages, by contrast, the hotels are 300-500 metres from the Haram; in the luxury packages, 200-300 metres; and in the Premium packages, just 50-100 metres. The closer the hotel is to the Haram, the higher both the comfort and the price.

The second factor is the room type. On the same tour, a guest staying in a room for 4 pays a lower price per person than a guest staying in a room for 2. Families and groups of friends usually keep their budget in check by choosing a room for 3 or 4. The third factor is the season: prices rise during busy periods such as Ramadan, the mid-term school holiday and the holy nights (kandil), while dates at the start of the season are generally more affordable.

Finally, the duration and the type of flight affect the price. There is a marked difference between a 7-day programme and a 23-day programme because of the cost of accommodation and meals. Prices can also differ between dates of the same package depending on the season and availability. You can see this information in every row of our table and easily choose the date that best fits your budget.

There is no set time for Umrah; it can be performed at any time of year outside the days of Hajj. In the 2026-2027 season, our first group from Alanya and Gazipaşa sets off in November 2026. With calmer crowds and favourable prices, the start of the season is very well suited to guests performing Umrah for the first time; as autumn progresses, the weather also starts to cool. The mid-term break of 16-20 November 2026 offers families with school-age children an opportunity for short programmes.

As the three holy months draw near, Makkah and Madinah become busier. Laylat al-Raghaib falls on 10 December 2026, Laylat al-Mi’raj on 4 January 2027 and Laylat al-Bara’ah on 22 January 2027; for those who wish to spend these nights in the blessed lands, our programmes are planned to cover the dates of the holy nights. The mid-term school holiday, from 25 January to 5 February 2027, is the period most favoured by our guests from the education community.

The high point of the season is the blessed month of Ramadan. Throughout Ramadan, which begins on 8 February 2027, praying tarawih at the Haram, breaking your fast in the courtyard of the Prophet’s Mosque and spending Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power) in worship facing the Kaaba is a priceless experience. Eid al-Fitr falls on 9 March 2027. Our dates from Alanya and Gazipaşa are concentrated in the following months: November 2026, January 2027 and March 2027.

Documents are the foundation of preparing for your journey. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date; if it is not, we recommend starting your passport renewal in Alanya or Gazipaşa before you register. Once registration is complete, our advisors submit your Umrah visa application; all we ask of you is a scan of your passport and a biometric photo.

For physical preparation, we recommend starting daily walks a few weeks before your journey; tawaf and sa’i together involve walking several kilometres. Consult your doctor about vaccinations and health requirements. Umrah consists of four basic steps, and our guides stay with our group at every one of them. Ihram: Before crossing the miqat boundary, you enter ihram, make the intention and recite the talbiyah. On programmes that fly to Makkah, ihram is entered in Türkiye or on the plane as it passes the miqat; guests coming from Madinah enter ihram at the miqat of Dhul Hulayfah.

Tawaf: On arrival at the Haram, seven circuits (shawt) of tawaf are made around the Kaaba, starting in line with the Black Stone (al-Hajar al-Aswad). After tawaf, two rak’ahs of the tawaf prayer are performed behind the Station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim), and Zamzam water is drunk. Sa’i: You walk back and forth between the two hills seven times, starting at the hill of Safa and finishing at the hill of Marwah; in the section marked with green lights, men move at a light jog.

Shaving: After sa’i, men shave or shorten their hair, while women cut a small amount from the ends of their hair. With this, you leave ihram and your Umrah is complete. On our programme, the first Umrah is performed together as a group, accompanied by a guide; in the days that follow, additional Umrahs are organised from the miqat points of Ji’ranah and Tan’im for guests who wish. Observing the restrictions of ihram throughout Umrah, staying patient in the crowds and following your guide’s instructions help you complete your worship in peace.

In our packages departing from Alanya and Gazipaşa, accommodation is planned at different distances and standards depending on the package you choose. In the economy packages, you stay in 3-4 star hotels with a shuttle service, 2.5-4 km from the Haram in Makkah, and in hotels within 200-300 metres’ walking distance of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. In the walking-distance packages, the hotels in Makkah are 300-500 metres from the Haram; in the luxury packages, 200-300 metres; and in the Premium packages, 50-100 metres.

At our hotels, breakfast and dinner are served as an open buffet; on Ramadan programmes, suhoor and iftar are provided. Rooms are arranged for 2, 3 or 4 people; families can stay in the same room, while guests travelling alone share a room with travellers of the same gender. Hotel names are confirmed according to your group’s travel date and shared with you before departure. For Alanya’s large families, requests for rooms next to each other are noted at registration.

To make sure the days you spend in the blessed lands pass peacefully, it helps to keep a few practical points in mind. The Haram and the Prophet’s Mosque cover very large areas; so that you do not become separated from your group, be sure to note the meeting gate and time set by your guide. Always carry your hotel card and your guide’s phone number with you. Setting out early before prayer times makes it easier to find a comfortable spot in the crowds.

The weather in Saudi Arabia can be hot, especially around midday; drink plenty of water and Zamzam, and use an umbrella to protect yourself from the sun. On long walks, take rest breaks at the hotel during the day so that your feet do not get too tired. Keep your valuables in the hotel safe, and carry your bag in front of you in crowded areas. Check the price tags when you shop; leaving your shopping for date fruit, Zamzam water and souvenirs until the last days of the programme makes your luggage easier to manage.

Taking care not to disturb others during worship, and not to disturb the peace of worshippers when taking photos, is part of the etiquette of Umrah. There are separate prayer areas for women at the Haram, and our guides show these areas to our guests on the first day. If you experience any health problem, simply let your guide know; the necessary referral is then arranged under your travel health insurance.

Every day spent in the holy lands is enriched by visits that bring worship and historical knowledge together. In Makkah, Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira, Mount Thawr, Jabal al-Rahmah at Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina are visited with commentary from our guides. At Jannat al-Mu’alla, guests visit the grave of our mother Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the place of these sites in the life of the Prophet (sirah) is explained in detail.

In Madinah, our days are spent performing the daily prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque and visiting the Rawdah. At Quba Mosque, the hadiths on the virtue of praying two rak’ahs there are recalled; Masjid al-Qiblatayn, the Seven Mosques, Mount Uhud and the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery, where the grave of Hamzah (may Allah be pleased with him) lies, are also visited. At Jannat al-Baqi, prayers are offered at the graves of the Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet’s family) and the Companions. Free time is also set aside for visiting the date palm gardens and for shopping.
