As there is no airport in Çorum, our groups fly from departure cities with an airport. Since there are currently no open departures from Çorum, guests from Çorum and the surrounding area can join us by choosing one of the nearest departure cities with open dates (Amasya, Kastamonu, Samsun, Ankara and Sivas). The tables above show the departure city and airport for every date.

Getting to the departure city, the meeting point and the flight times are arranged with our advisor at registration. On arrival in Saudi Arabia, transfers from the airport to the hotel, intercity journeys and visit programmes are made by air-conditioned coach; on the way back, a transfer from the hotel to the airport is provided.

When Umrah prices are calculated, the most decisive item is the hotel’s distance from the Kaaba. On our economy programmes, the hotels in Makkah are 2.5-4 km from the Haram, and a shuttle service runs at every prayer time. On walking-distance programmes this distance drops to 300-500 metres, on luxury programmes to 200-300 metres and on Premium programmes to just 50-100 metres. Our elderly guests and families with children are far more comfortable in hotels close to the Haram.

Room sharing also has a direct effect on the price per person. A quadruple room is the most economical option; in triple and double rooms, the price per person rises step by step. Couples who want to travel on their own tend to choose a double room, while large families opt for a quadruple room. The travel period matters too: the blessed month of Ramadan, the mid-term school holiday and the blessed holy nights (kandil) are the times when demand is at its highest.

The duration of the programme and the flight plan are the final factors. Short programmes are budget-friendly for working people with limited annual leave, while longer programmes are ideal for those who wish to devote more time to worship.

Umrah is an act of worship that can be performed for most of the year, outside the Hajj period. Temperatures start to fall as autumn progresses; in the first weeks of the season, the crowds are relatively small and prices are favourable. The mid-term break in November (16-20 November 2026) is the first busy period and a popular choice for families with children.

In December and January, demand rises as the three holy months begin. In the 2026-2027 season, Laylat al-Raghaib falls on 10 December 2026, Laylat al-Mi’raj on 4 January 2027 and Laylat al-Bara’ah on 22 January 2027. For guests who wish to be at the Haram on these nights, programmes covering the dates of the holy nights are organised. The mid-term school holiday runs from 25 January to 5 February 2027 and is the most convenient time for Umrah for teachers and students.

The blessed month of Ramadan begins on 8 February 2027, and Eid al-Fitr falls on 9 March 2027. Ramadan Umrah is the most precious period of all, when fasts and tarawih prayers are performed at the Haram and Laylat al-Qadr is revived in worship; this is why places fill up early.

Preparation for Umrah should begin a few weeks before you set off. The first step is your passport: it must be valid for at least 6 months from your return date. If you do not have a passport, or yours is about to expire, make an appointment at the civil registry office in Çorum and start the process early. Umrah visa procedures are handled by us after registration; all we need for this is a clear scan of your passport and a biometric photo with a white background.

Health preparation is just as important as your documents. Umrah involves long periods of walking during tawaf and sa’i; walking regularly in the weeks before the journey will improve your fitness. You can consult your family doctor about the seasonal flu vaccine and current health requirements. At the preparation seminar we hold before departure, our guides explain the rites of Umrah, the restrictions of ihram and practical information in detail.

The Umrah is completed in four stages: ihram, tawaf, sa’i and shaving or trimming the hair. The first stage is ihram: before reaching the miqat boundary, pilgrims take the full ritual bath (ghusl), men wrap themselves in the two unstitched pieces of ihram cloth, the intention for Umrah is made and the recitation of the talbiyah begins. Once in ihram, pilgrims avoid actions such as applying perfume, cutting their nails and trimming their hair or beard.

The second stage is tawaf. Seven circuits are walked with the Holy Kaaba on your left, starting from the corner of the Black Stone (al-Hajar al-Aswad). At the start of each circuit, the Black Stone is saluted. When tawaf is finished, two rak’ahs of prayer are performed behind the Station of Ibrahim (Maqam Ibrahim), and Zamzam water is drunk. The third stage is sa’i: starting at Safa, seven circuits (shawt) are walked between the hills of Safa and Marwah, made up of four outward walks and three return walks.

In the final stage, men have their hair shaved or shortened, while women cut a fingertip’s length from the ends of their hair; with this, the restrictions of ihram come to an end. In our group, the first Umrah is performed together with our guide, with the supplications recited as a group. Throughout the programme, guests who wish to do so can re-enter ihram at Ji’ranah and Tan’im to perform additional Umrahs. Using a radio headset system, our guides can continue their explanations even in the crowds.

On our packages, accommodation is planned at different distances and standards depending on the package you choose. On economy packages, guests stay in 3-4 star hotels with a shuttle service 2.5-4 km from the Haram in Makkah, and in hotels within 200-300 metres’ walking distance of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. On walking-distance packages, the hotels in Makkah are 300-500 metres from the Haram; on luxury packages they are 200-300 metres away, and on Premium packages 50-100 metres away.

At our hotels, breakfast and dinner are served as an open buffet; on Ramadan programmes, suhoor and iftar are provided. Rooms are arranged as doubles, triples or quadruples; families can stay in the same room, while guests travelling alone share a room with passengers of the same gender. Hotel names are finalised according to your group’s travel date and shared with you before departure. For Çorum’s large families, requests for rooms next to each other are noted at registration.

On an Umrah journey, small precautions make things much easier. The Haram has dozens of gates; on the first day, learn the gate number your guide shows you and the direction of your hotel. Save your hotel’s location on your phone and join the group’s messaging group. If you set off early for the daily prayers, you will find a place more easily and be able to return without getting caught in the crowds.

As temperatures can rise during the day, keep water with you and choose light-coloured, loose-fitting clothing. Do not rush during tawaf and sa’i; our guides suggest the less crowded times of day for our elderly guests. Keep your passport somewhere safe at the hotel and carry a photocopy with you. For your cash needs, activate your bank card for use abroad before you set off.

Respecting the quiet and cleanliness of the mosques, carrying your shoes in a bag and not squeezing into the prayer rows all help to preserve the atmosphere of worship. We advise taking your souvenir photos outside the areas of worship. Alongside worship, our programmes include guided visits to important sites in Islamic history. In Makkah, pilgrims visit Jabal al-Nour, home to the Cave of Hira where the first revelation came to our Prophet (peace be upon him); Mount Thawr, where he took refuge during the Hijrah; Arafat, where the standing (wuquf), the most important pillar of Hajj, takes place; and Muzdalifah and Mina. Many Companions are buried in the Jannat al-Mu’alla cemetery, first and foremost our mother Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her).

In Madinah al-Munawwarah, the prayers performed at the Prophet’s Mosque and the visit to the Rawdah (al-Rawdah al-Mutahharah) are the heart of the programme. Quba Mosque, the first mosque of Islam; Masjid al-Qiblatayn, where the qiblah was turned from Jerusalem to the Kaaba; Mount Uhud and the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery; the site of the Battle of the Trench (Khandaq); and the Jannat al-Baqi cemetery are all visited with our guides’ explanations. On some of our dates, visits to Taif and Badr are also added to the programme.

A quad room is the most suitable option for families and groups of friends; couples and guests who want more privacy prefer a double room. Simply state your request to stay in the same room when you register.
