About the Product
The detergent comes in liquid form; it dissolves easily in cold and lukewarm water and, unlike powder detergent, leaves no granules on the fabric when you wash by hand. No perfume or essence has been added. It can be used on cotton towelling, bamboo-fibre and muslin ihram cloths, as well as on underwear, socks and everyday clothes. The bottle cap doubles as a measuring cup, so you can adjust the dose to how dirty the laundry is and the amount of water. We recommend not washing your white ihrams together with coloured clothes.

How to Use
- For hand washing, fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water and add one capful of detergent.
- Soak the ihram for 10–15 minutes, then wash it by rubbing gently.
- Rinse several times with plenty of water so that no detergent residue remains.
- In a washing machine, use 1–2 capfuls depending on how dirty the laundry is and select a 30–40 °C programme.
- Wash white ihrams separately from coloured clothes and dry them in the shade.
Using It on Your Umrah and Hajj Journey
While in ihram, applying fragrance to the body, the ihram garments or the place where you sleep is among the prohibitions of ihram. The High Council of Religious Affairs of Diyanet (Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs) states that scented soap and detergent used only for cleaning, with no intention of perfuming oneself, do not require a penalty, yet it recommends unscented products.
