RotaNur Foldable Travel Slippers are a light, foldable solution for exactly these moments. Thanks to a sole that flexes in the middle, they fold in two and fit into their ventilated, zippered case. They have a simple open-back design with a single strap resting across the toes at the front. This design holds the front of the foot while leaving the heel uncovered. We recommend that men in ihram check, after putting the slippers on, that the strap does not cover the middle of the top of the foot. The underside of the sole is covered with patterned rubber for better grip, while the inner surface has a soft texture suitable for bare feet. As they are suitable for contact with water, they dry quickly after wudu.

How to Use
- Take the slippers out of the case, flatten them and put them on.
- If you are in ihram, check after putting them on that your heels and the tops of your feet remain uncovered.
- After use, wipe the soles, fold the slippers in two and place them in the case.
- If the slippers are wet, leave them to dry for a few minutes before putting them in the case.
- If you use the slippers at the bathroom entrance in your hotel, dry the soles after each use.
Using Them on Your Umrah and Hajj Journey
While in ihram, men do not wear sewn clothing; they wear the ihram, made of two unsewn pieces of cloth, keep their heads uncovered and choose slippers or sandals that leave the top of the foot uncovered. Women, on the other hand, enter ihram in their ordinary clothing that meets the requirements of modest Islamic dress; they do not cover their faces or hands. An ihram belt or a waist bag can be used to secure the ihram and to carry items such as money and a phone. Are these slippers suitable for long walks?
Foldable slippers put lightness and portability first; because the sole is thin, they offer limited support on long walks. For walking all day, we recommend our sandal models.
Can men in ihram wear them?
The slippers have an open back, and the single strap sits over the toes. According to the guidance of Diyanet (Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs), the heels and the tops of the feet must remain uncovered; after putting them on, check that the middle of the top of your foot is uncovered, and if in doubt, consult your group guide.
Can the case be washed?
The case can be hand-washed in lukewarm soapy water and dried in the shade. We recommend not putting the slippers in the case while they are wet.
Will they crack when folded?
The sole was designed to fold along the flex line in its middle. Avoiding bending it at other points and not placing heavy items on top will extend the life of the slippers.
Can the slippers be used on the plane?
Yes. On long flights, you can take off your shoes and put on the slippers. Before landing, simply put them back in their case and place it in your bag; they are also a practical solution when you go to the toilet.
