About the Product

The product is made from soft-handled polyester fleece. Fleece is warm for its weight, dries quickly and resists creasing, which makes it more practical for travel than a cotton blanket. The edges are stitched to prevent fraying. Its light cream shade goes well with a white ihram and does not readily show dust. Folded, it slips easily into its pouch and takes up little space in a backpack. Washing it before first use helps remove any lint and dust remaining from production; when washing, choose unscented products instead of scented detergent and fabric softener.

How to Use

1. Wrap it around your shoulders like a shawl in an air-conditioned tent or on the coach.
2. At Muzdalifah, cover your body and feet with it as you lie on your mat.
3. While in ihram, men must leave the head and face uncovered, and women the face.
4. In the morning, shake it out, fold it and put it back in its pouch.
5. Wash at 30°C with unscented detergent.

Use on Your Umrah and Hajj Journey

While in ihram, men do not wear stitched clothing; they wear the ihram made of two unstitched sheets, leave their heads uncovered and choose slippers or sandals that leave the top of the foot exposed. Women enter ihram in their usual modest clothing and do not cover their faces or hands. An ihram belt or waist bag can be used to secure the ihram and to carry items such as money and a phone.
