About the Product

Bamboo viscose is a soft fibre produced by processing cellulose obtained from the bamboo plant. When blended with cotton, it gives the fabric a silky smoothness and a beautiful drape, while its moisture absorption is close to that of cotton towelling. According to the supplier, the blend ratio is stated on the product label. The total weight of 1350 grams stops the ihram from blowing about easily in the wind and improves coverage. Each piece measures approximately 110×220 centimetres. Because it is a delicate fabric, washing it at a low temperature and drying it in the shade will extend its life. How to Use

1. Before first use, wash at 30°C with unscented detergent and without bleach.
2. Wrap the izar around your waist, fold the top edge inwards and secure it with an ihram belt.
3. Drape the rida over your shoulders; because the fabric is smooth, folding it wide across the shoulders reduces slipping.
4. Hang the wet ihram without wringing it and dry it in the shade, or use a tumble dryer on low heat.
5. Once dry, fold the ihram into its bag and then place it in its box.

Use During Umrah and Hajj

While in ihram, men do not wear sewn clothing; instead they wear the ihram, made of two unstitched sheets, keep their heads uncovered and choose slippers or sandals that leave the upper part of the foot exposed. Women, on the other hand, enter ihram in their usual modest clothing and do not cover their faces or hands. An ihram belt or waist bag may be used to secure the ihram and to carry items such as money and a phone. Since applying scent is prohibited while in ihram, make sure your care products are unscented.
